Easter is not about the bunny.

Everyone celebrates Easter differently, but here's why I don't celebrate the day. I celebrate my Savior. It took Jesus' death to triumph over the grave. I celebrate the Lord and his triumph over the grave, enabling us to have the same, providing us a way to have life in heaven for eternity. I'm forever grateful to him. I don't take His sacrifice lightly. I'm thankful everyday for his provisions. I believe he deserves the glory.

Easter isn’t a vague promise within us—it’s the historical reality of Jesus Christ crucified and risen. If we remove the resurrection, we don’t deepen the message—we lose it. The resurrection is the foundation of our faith. If we remove the resurrection, then the power of what He actually did, gets lost. It is a defining moment in history when Jesus took on sin, died in our place, and physically rose again.

The Bible says God’s Spirit comes to dwell in those who receive Him, not automatically in everyone.

Thank you Jesus, for what you did for us.

Happy Easter everyone.
