There are two kinds of afterlife but only one of them is real.

(1) That which is reasonable and is fully congruent to how nature works.
(2) That which is unreasonable and depends on magical wishing power.

@newjaninev2 Nature includes the intangible as well as the tangible. It is by our exploring the intangible while maintaining congruence to the tangible that an answer appears.
