If we'll let go of fear and doubt, we'll find God.
It’s often not God’s love that people doubt. It's their own worthiness to receive it. Shame, pride, and past wounds, whisper louder than truth, if we let them. But the beauty of God’s love is that it’s not based on what we do, but who He is.
God loves you no matter how many mistakes you've made. Salvation is never based on your performance. It is based on the Promises of God. We don’t earn it, we accept it. And once we do, it changes everything. It is God's love that transforms our whole life, by the Holy Spirit he sends to live in our heart and life, after asking and receiving Jesus as Savior. As we receive the Holy Spirit, we cannot help but be transformed by His holy prescence in us. Thus begins, your brand new life in Christ.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Nothing can change that. Jesus washes every sin away that you have ever committed and gives you a brand new life in Christ... just as if you had never sinned a day in your life. Every sin you've ever committed is completely obliterated and forgotten. That is God's promise to you. That's what he did for me and that's what he will do for you or anyone else who wants to come to him. Jesus never came to condemn us...he only came to save us.
Whatever has happened in your life... It doesn't mean God stopped loving you. He always will. It means you've been fighting the devil on your own, but God's love is forever and he wants to change and transform your life through the Holy Spirit. To give you hope and a future...confirmed in Jeremiah 29:11. His love for you never changes. He loves you for all eternity. NOTHING you've done, said, or thought, is too far for the LOVE & GRACE of God to save you. He'll never stop loving you.
Salvation doesn't depend on your good works. You might try to earn God's love, but you’re going to fail—because His love isn’t based on what you do. It’s based on who He is and what He can do for your life, and he has promised to never stop loving you and he'll never turn you away. He already loves and accepts you. No begging or "works" required to earn salvation. That is, God's grace offers salvation, and individuals are called to respond through faith, not works. We are saved not because of our own merits or good deeds, but because of God giving us undeserved favor, called "grace" -- unearned favor from God. Salvation is a free gift from God, given through His love and mercy.
Nothing can ever separate you from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or whether we are high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God, demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God.
[/center] I don’t know how you’ve been hurt in life. Maybe you’ve been abused. Maybe you feel like you’ve been cast off or rejected by somebody, or abandoned. Maybe you feel like you’ve been burned in life and it’s all for loss and nothing can help. That's exactly what Satan wants you to believe, but all is not lost. Maybe you think no one cares and no one will ever love you, but there's always one person that will always love you, and that is Jesus. Maybe you've never thought to look in the one place you've never looked before, and that is up, to Jesus.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or what’s been done to you, God makes it very clear: “I’ll forgive your past. I’ll give you a purpose for living. And I’ll give you a home in heaven.”
It’s fear that causes people to walk away from God.
It’s fear that tells us to not let go of control, yet it is through Christ that we are set free from the condemnation sin placed on us. We are set free by His truths and salvation. It’s fear that convinces us we’ll be let down, if we trust anyone. It’s fear that keeps us from putting our faith in something we can’t see, but faith sets us free. God, unlike Satan, is no liar and there is no sin in him. He always keeps His word. When we let go and let God help us, all the pieces fall together in the right order and our lives work for the better.
Past, present, and future—nobody can offer you hope for all three, except Jesus Christ.
The Bible says, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.” (1 John 4:18). God's love is perfect for us.
How do you accept God’s love? How do you take that first step? It’s simple: You let go of your fear. It is not God that has instilled the spirit of fear in your heart, but your enemy, the devil, trying to tell you that God would never accept you as his child, but as the "father of all lies" and deceit, Satan is wrong.
2 Timothy 1:7 ... For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Don’t let fear keep you from the greatest thing that you were created to enjoy—a life that is safe and secure in God’s everlasting love for you.
I thank God for his unconditional love and mercy for all. Great is his faithfulness.
Have you accepted God’s love and invited Jesus into your heart and life?
If not, and your ready... you can start with a simple prayer, something like the following, in case you're not sure how to pray. So when or if, you ever decide to accept Jesus as your Savior, you'll have an idea of how to pray. God's not looking for a long or fancy prayer. Just a simple prayer from your heart. He promises to save and he always keeps his promise. Here's an example prayer guide:
“Dear God, I know I’ve sinned and ask you to forgive me. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins and I trust that through his forgiveness, I can have eternal life. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I give my life to him. Thank you for loving me, saving me, and giving me a fresh new start in life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
"The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed."
One can be aware of one's unworthiness, but one can still have faith.
@Thinkerbell Amen!! I have missed very much, your wise answers dear lady. Great to be back and thank you. I love what you said here. It's so so true. One can be aware of one's unworthiness, but one can still have faith. That deserved a second confirmation and reminder. Thank you so much.🤗🙏
@LadyGrace thing is, I'd like to engage in some of them. Now take it as my own fault but I just don't seem to have the capacity to read a whole dissertation before starting to engage and then for each and every response.
@froggtongue Oh sure. I understand. And you really don't have to. You can always write to some people that you want to engage with in conversation or have questions. Or even if you see a title that you like you don't have to read but a little bit and then ask your own questions. They're always welcome.
