I once did have a visit from pair of evanglists like those lampooned there.
I didn't slam the door on them but talked to them for a couple of minutes or so - they didn't like me calling their "church" a cult" - then pointed to the Anglican Church nearby and said, "... but if I become religious that's where I'll go".
At this point the silent one, who'd been standing a little further back, stepped forwards and politely asked my name!
I iasked why they wanted that.
They didn't have an answer, and left.
