I could not be happier today.
I am seeing prayers being answered in a great way, and the Holy Spirit moving so strongly. It is just amazing. Prayers being answered that have been prayed for a certain family a few months ago and even longer, and that's even greater, as it shows us that God never forgets us nor our prayers. It also shows us that God answers our prayers at exactly the right moment!
Sometimes, even other people's hearts have to be moved, before a certain prayer can be answered. That's why your prayers are so important to the Lord. You pray, He listens. We must practice patience. He makes it happen in His own time, because His timing is always perfect...and on time. Not too soon...and not too late. Just right. So we should never get discouraged or impatient with the Lord. He knows exactly what He's doing and He is in complete control. Even He wants it all to turn out perfectly for you.
Here's what I'm excited about. Soon, a whole household will be turning to the Lord, as Savior. But that's not all! Their son, who has been addicted to alcohol for years... is about to be freed from that whole addiction. His life is about to be transformed forever, as the Holy Spirit is already speaking to his heart and the family's heart, as well. After trying to convince their son to stop drinking for many years, they will know exactly when their son has been set free from his alcohol addiction. They will know when the Lord has touched him and made him whole, very soon. Even the entire household will be blessed and turn to worship and praise God for what He has done. Some great things are taking place and all because of prayer. So I'm just praising the Lord today. He is so good.
Isaiah 65:24, states, "Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear."
It means that God answers prayers even before people finish asking... signifying His willingness to hear and readily respond to our needs.
God is not just waiting to be called upon, but actively anticipates and answers prayers even before they are fully expressed.
Therefore, we have confidence in prayer. Isaiah encourages believers to have faith that their prayers will be heard and answered. That is just one of God's many glorious promises to us in the Bible.
Answered prayer does not come about "by accident". That is why when I see God moving and answering prayers, I like to give credit where credit is due. Amen, and thank you God!
Note: The phrase "all praise and glory belongs to God" appears in the Bible in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 and 1 Timothy 1:17:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort".
1 Timothy 1:17
"All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen".
