How do we know that the action we take, is approved by God?

First and foremost, we can know an action is approved by God by aligning our choices with the teachings of the Bible, seeking guidance through prayer, and we can even discuss things with other Christian friends.

Further, the plan will not be a struggle. It will run smoothly and you will see certain doors will open to you. It will feel right in your spirit, not confusing or disturbing to your spirit. It will feel joyful and good to you... and your conscience. It will bring peace to your spirit. It is the devil that is the author of confusion.

We can test it, and ask ourselves if our decision would bring God glory, or be a disappointment to Him. God's guidance never goes against our spirit. Is this is something that God would be happy about?

We can evaluate whether our actions are motivated by God, love, compassion, and a desire to do good.

God may choose to not give us a clear, tangible sign; He may just speak to our hearts, helping us exercise our faith, as we always need to do, anyway. He will help us lean on Him and His Word. Ultimately, God's answer is based on our faith in Jesus Christ and our intention to live a life that honors Him. We can know and trust that He always always gives us His best and that is what he wants for us. He wants us to have faith; not always seeking for signs, although He does give them at times.

God wants us to read our Bible and see what his will is for us. Scripture grows our faith in a very real and sound way. The Bible is considered the primary source of God's will, so aligning your actions with biblical principles, is a key indicator of our thoughts about God.

Actively praying to God for wisdom and direction, before making important decisions, can help you discern His will.

Examine your motivations and intentions behind an action , to see if they align with your Christian values.

Consulting with trusted spiritual leaders or mentors within your faith community, can provide valuable perspective on whether an action is aligned with God's will.

Often, a sense of inner peace or conviction can accompany a decision that aligns with God's will. It always feels good and makes one's heart happy, when we know we are aligned with God and His Word. After all, God's Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We can never go wrong by trusting in the Lord.

Never force open doors God has closed, is what I have learned
@Justmeraeagain Exactly. That is very wise. We don't want to get ahead of God or tell him what he should do. He always knows what's best for us, even if we don't realize it.
