Realizing You're Worth in God's Eyes

The number one thing that God would tell you, is to always tell yourself the truth. You don't have to believe the lies of others nor allow them to fit you in any type of box of their own making. They don't really know you and they cannot judge you. Only you can do that. Only you have authority over your life, so never let people put you down. They don't even know the half of your story. Love and respect yourself enough to not believe their lies. Remember, the truth will set you free! And what better truths do we have, than that of God's Word?

Prayer gives you the power and strength you need, to stand firm. You are standing on the promises of God Almighty. As you keep yourself in the love of God, your assurance of the truth of God, grows and enables you to live life more confidently and abundantly. God's power is not watered down, that it cannot help you stand firm and confident in your walk with Christ.

Did you know you were bought with a price? Your worth is given to you by God. You are of so much value to Him, that you can't even imagine, and is shown in the price He paid on the cross, to save you from the condemnation that sin placed on all of us. Acknowledging your worth, determines the way you will live your life, interact with God, and other people.

“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own.” (1 Cor. 6:19)

God says you are His workmanship, made in His image.

What a high honor He gives you, as He calls you His Redeemed and forgiven.

The desire to feel a true sense of value, acceptance, and love, is given by God and is satisfied in Him alone. Take a step toward confidence, by finding out what God says about you:

According to the Bible, God says you are His
Beloved. God says that you are cherished for who you are, not for what you have done or even what you do. Salvation was never given according to your performance, but according to God's mercy and grace. Salvation is not something that you earn, but a gift from God. That is the definition of grace. UN-EARNED favor from God.

God says that you are precious and honored in His sight.

For those who love God, and abide in Him, you are described as a brand new creation in Christ. You have become a child of God.

God calls you a friend of Jesus.

God calls you an ambassador for Christ.

God says you are adopted.

“We are God’s children, and if children, also heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ." (Rom. 8:17).

God says you are a citizen of heaven.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and individual members of it” (1 Cor. 12:27).

The Bible also says that God's Spirit will guide you into truth, help you, and empower you.

God sees you as righteousness, no longer condemned by your sins! “He made the one who did not know sin, to be sin for us, so that in Jesus, we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Cor. 5:21)

What this verse means, is that when your sins were forgiven by God, when He looks at you now, He sees Jesus standing in your place on your behalf, not your sins, because of what He did for you on the cross, in your place. He sees you as righteousness now, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.

God says that you are no longer a slave, but free. That is, no longer a slave to sin. You have the choice to resist it and stay faithful to Christ. YOU have the choice and power over sin. That puts you in the driver's seat. You are not a slave to sin. You have power over it if you will exercise it.

Pray to God and He will help you with this. The best way to avoid temptation is to not even put ourselves in a position to be tempted. Resist the devil in the name of Jesus and by his authority alone, and he will flee from you. We cannot order the devil around. He is very strong, but what we can do is command him in the name of Jesus and by his authority, and he will flee from you. Not because of what you said, but because of what Jesus did on the cross. The devil's not afraid of you but he trembles at the very name of Jesus.

“For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 5:1).

Praise God, I’m not who I used to be! In Christ, I am a new creation. So are you.

Refuse to compare yourself to others. Surround yourself with confident, loving people. Leave those who are toxic to you, behind. Fellowship with those who will encourage you and love you. Choose to be brave.

What a great post of yours for us to read when we feel put down or others are putting us down!

Many of us Christian posters no doubt have to deal with false rumours and gossip about us but this post reminds us who we are!
@BritishFailedAesthetic You're welcome brother. I'm so sorry about those who have recently tried to hurt you with their words. Totally unfounded. God knows the real truth. I'm proud to call you my brother in Christ.
@LadyGrace Thankyou and I'm proud to call you my sister in Christ, you are an inspiration, including beyond these forums!
@BritishFailedAesthetic oh thank you brother I appreciate that so much. I hold you in highest esteem. God bless you and the work you do for him.

This is so important message to all those still searching for happiness and can't find it. They don't know that Jesus Christ is happiness, temptation brings sadness and misery. When I am in Christ, I am myself. I am no slave to Mysery, no slave to greed, no slave to temptation and no slave to I'll thoughts.

I am free and I enjoy my freedom in Christ. Thank you for introducing me to the Lord.
@BritishFailedAesthetic the language in his country is different. I think what he was trying to say is that you're still young and you still have many days left ahead of you to witness for Christ. It doesn't come across in our country the way they phrase things.
@LadyGrace Very true.

@DanielsASJ Apologies for the misunderstanding on my part!
@BritishFailedAesthetic you said nothing wrong brother. He understands I'm sure. He really loves and looks up to you as a brother in Christ. You're not the first one to misinterpret languages from different parts of the world. I had to get used to their phrases as well and sometimes still misinterpret.
