Exodus 23:20-23 (20) “Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. (21) Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don’t provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him. (22) But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries. (23) For my angel shall go before you, and bring you in to the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.
Psalms 91:1-6,10-11 (1) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. (2) I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” (3) For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. (4) He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. (5) You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; (6) nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. (10) no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. (11) For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
Matthew 18:1-5,10 (1) In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” (2) Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them, (3) and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. (4) Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. (5) Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me, (10) See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
