Some are wondering what happened to the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve left it.
With things on earth growing up over centuries, it is safe to say that it is not visible today. However, back in its day, God had to put a cherubim to guard it and a flaming sword to block access to the Tree of Life. No one has found it to this day.
The location of Eden is described in the Book of Genesis as the source of four tributaries. Various suggestions have been made for its location: at the head of the Persian Gulf, in southern Mesopotamia where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers run into the sea; and in Armenia.
According to the Bible, the Garden of Eden was located in the Middle East, near where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are today. This is based on the description in Genesis 2:8–14, which mentions a spring in the Garden that split into four rivers.
