Heaven and Hope: The Story of the Apostle Paul's Vision of Heaven (2 Corinthians 12:1-10)

Paul, a devout follower of Christ, was given a glimpse of heaven. He described it as a place of breathtaking beauty, where he heard unutterable words and saw beautiful things beyond human description. In heaven, Paul experienced the presence of God, which surpassed any suffering or hardship he faced on earth. From his message, we can learn that:

Heaven is a real place, more magnificent than we can imagine (2 Corinthians 12:4)

Our struggles on earth are temporary, but heaven's joys are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

Hope in heaven gives us strength to persevere through life's challenges (2 Corinthians 12:10)

According to God’s Word, our eyes haven’t seen, our ears haven’t heard and our mind cannot fully conceive, what God has prepared for us in Heaven. We cannot imagine the glory that awaits us.

WE LOOK THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY

For now, it really is like looking through a glass darkly, or looking through a dirty window, or into a dim mirror. However, once we cross over to eternity, we'll have the full picture.

HOW DO WE GET TO HEAVEN?

1. Know God loves you and created you.
2. Believe in Jesus, His Son, who died and rose again for you.
3. Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and be your friend.
4. Follow Him with all your heart.

Remember, heaven is a gift of love from God. He wants to spend eternity with you!

What we truly cannot fully imagine or understand now, will become “concrete reality” when we stand before Him.

Consider Paul's vision of heaven and the hope it offers. May this inspire you to fix your eyes on eternity, and find strength in God's promises for the challenges you face today.

Amen sister! What a great anology- this applies to our most cherished fellowship memory, it is but a dark view or dirty window compared to the joys of Heaven!
