Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say evil against you, because of Me." (Matthew 5:11)

Being hurt by someone's words and betrayed by their actions can be incredibly painful, especially when it comes from someone you trusted.

I am reminded from God's Word, that I am not alone in this feeling. Jesus himself was betrayed and falsely accused, and he understands the depth of my pain and yours.

Here are some scriptures to hold onto, when we are hurting:

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
"He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities." (Isaiah 53:5)

Remember that God sees and knows the truth. Don't lose heart; instead, draw closer to Him and allow His love and grace to heal your wounds.

Though forgiven, that doesn't mean the sin is excusable, but rather the hurt and anger, released to God.

Pray for those who hurt you, just as Jesus did on the cross. Surround yourself with supportive people who speak truth and encouragement.Take care of yourself.

You are loved, valued, and cherished by God, and He will carry you through this dark time. Hold onto Him, and don't let go. That's what I intend to do at this difficult time.

People will say what they're going to say, do what they're going to do, and think what they're going to think. None of us have any control over that. But what we can control is how we respond to these insecure people who deliberately try to hurt others. I'm trying to remember that judgment of myself from others, is only from their perception, when they don't truly know the facts. That's what you get in any social setting. Jesus also said this is what would happen in the last days, as some hearts wax cold.

For those that do love and support me, I cannot thank you enough, because you know my true heart.

Sweet friends, if you too, are suffering from injustice, I'm here for you. I'm not going anywhere because of insecure people who have nothing better to do than try to disrupt the peace of others, however, I'll be taking a break from this site, due to family business that needs my attention. I may not be able to physically hug you, but I'm wrapping you in a big virtual hug right now.

It's okay to cry and process your emotions. Sometimes, we just need to let it all out and release the pain. Remember that your tears are not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength and courage.

Keep crying if you need to, and know that God is collecting every tear and storing them in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He sees your pain and is right there with you, weeping alongside you.

When any are hurting, we can turn to our loving Savior, scriptures, and prayers to help us heal and find strength. But for now, just know that you're loved, supported, and not alone.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
