Why People Don't Trust Atheists

I'd say one of the top reasons people don't trust atheists is because atheists tend to not believe in objective morality, since they literally have nothing to base their morality on...we are just cosmic accidents here for no purpose at all if the atheist is correct. There are some self proclaimed atheists who say they believe in objective morality, but they really cannot justify it with their atheism when pressed on the topic.

According to the bible, mankind is born into sin.
There are other religions that are older, people still managed to come up with laws and ethics without consulting an invisible magical being. It’s social evolution. You live with a large number of people, you develop a system that promotes mutual protection and benefits.
