One of the biggest lies that Satan has told mankind, is that he can find his own path of salvation to God.

God made promises to us for good reason. He is not willing that any lose their soul. John 3:16 and 17. Not one place in scripture, will you find that Jesus said just any path to Him and salvation, will do. He said we can try that, but it definitely won't work. So when we try to get to heaven by our own bootstraps, we are calling Jesus a liar. Jesus came to Earth, died on the cross to pay for our sins, then went back to heaven. If anyone knows how to get to heaven, it is Jesus.

There are a lot of treasures in this world, granted, but there's no treasure like having Jesus as Savior, our sins forgiven, and the promise of eternal life. That authority was given strictly and solely to Jesus Christ, by God the Father himself. It is not up to us to change that... nor has God given us the authority to do so.

Wouldn't you say a loved one is a great treasure? How do you know if someone loves you? If they truly love you, they will seek you out with all their heart and mind, then want to come to you. They will let you know that they love you. We can never force our love on someone, and neither does Jesus want that. That's why He waits for us and even prays for us, so that we may have heaven.

Some say that Jesus forces His love on us, but that's where Satan lies to us. Parents who love and protect their children, by keeping them from playing in traffic or touching a hot stove, tell them for their own good, safety, and to save them from death or pain....not because they want to hurt them or force their will or love on them. They know they are saving their children. God is no different. He will go to any length to save us from a spiritual death and hell, and He proved that on the cross.

When we come to Jesus out of love, knowing how much He loves us, that tells Him that we understand why He died for us, and most of all, that we're willing to a trust Him and allow Him to do what he came to do, and that is to keep us out of hell. In order to make that possible and save you the most that anyone could, He went to the greatest length to save us, by dying for us on the cross and paying our spiritual sin debt. That debt was not given to us by God. He did not force us to sin. But Satan sure does. Jesus came into the world to save us from the condemnation that SIN placed on all of us! Satan is out to do nothing but lie to us and wants us to keep him company in hell.

If we do nothing to prepare our soul and Spirit for the afterlife, that means no decision was made, no sins were forgiven, and therefore, you have not prepared for heaven and the afterlife, and you cannot drag your sins into a holy heaven. That keeps us separated from God for eternity, so now we can see why we need to come to Jesus while we can, and ask His forgiveness....which puts us in right standing before God again, and we can have eternal life with Him.

Satan would have every one of us put that decision off, but don't fall for that. We know how delicate life is and we never know if we're going to be here the next minute or the next day, so we must prepare now. Once we cross over, there's no changing our minds. No place in the Bible does it say reincarnation is an option. It is not! The Bible says we are only appointed to die once! I made that decision and prepared my soul for heaven. I hope you will too, but most of all, God hopes you will make that important life-changing decision. He turns no one away.

"The fool says in his heart, there is no God." Psalm 14:1

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man can come to the heavenly Father, but by Jesus. John 14:6

Amen such a great gospel message that is needed, there is no other way or name!

Heard this point at church today, isn't it wonderful that no matter how many times we hear this, it is just as refreshing as the first!
