Does a person’s beliefs make them good or bad?

For instance, if someone’s religious or political beliefs don’t line up with your own, does that make them a bad person or a stupid person in your opinion??
Would that be the end of trying to understand the person, or would you continue to interact with them on other topics?

I would hope most people wouldn’t label someone so harshly simply because they have differing opinions/belief systems….but sadly, it seems to be a common practice…?

Especially online….?

I wouldn’t label them at all, people’s beliefs are their own, just different than my own that’s all. My mother and sisters have different political, social and religious beliefs than my own but we still love and respect one another.

@needsmilk808 What if your sister is a policy-making government official who wants the US to go to war and get people killed?

@sree251 lol that’s interesting, she actually is on the left and does think we should go to war in Ukraine and others, thankfully she’s not a policy making government official.

@needsmilk808 You said: "thankfully she’s not a policy making government official."

Your beliefs always impact others. They govern the way you live, and your lifestyle in society is as impactful as a large mole in the wrong place on your face. It's jarring to others.
