Personally, one of my favorite Bible verses, is:

Galatians 2:20 KJV - I have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

That is the verse that's struck me the most, immediately upon receiving Jesus as my personal Savior, so that is why it is so important and stands out to me. That was the biggest and most wonderful, lovely day of my whole life, being transformed by the Holy Spirit, that was promised by God when we accept Jesus as our Savior. This is also Paul's grandest declaration yet, about what exactly happens when someone is saved or justified by placing their faith in Christ. Paul states that we become so closely attached to Jesus, that we "die" with Him (our sinful desires of the flesh) and He begins to live in us. Paul has been emphasizing that faith, and faith alone, is what saves us—adding that any requirement of good deeds or rituals, is contrary to the gospel (Galatians 1:8–9;2:16).

Christ was crucified for our sin. By faith, we trust that His death paid for our own personal sin. In that way, we are crucified with Him, our sin with Him, on the cross. That sinful "us" dies, replaced by the resurrected Christ "in us." And the Holy Spirit NOW IN US, is what transforms our lives, to be more like Christ. We continue to live in the flesh, of course, but our lives are now directed not by our sinful desires, but by our faith in Christ. Paul expands on this great truth powerfully inRomans 6:1–6.

No one will ever love you, like Jesus.

Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
@funxxx707 YES!!! THAT, is my second favorite and has seen me through the worst!! Oh, how I treasure that Bible verse, and it has never failed me through my whole life.

This is a very inspiring post Grace. Thank you very much for sharing.
By faith..., we are crucified with Him, our sin with Him, on the cross. That sinful "us" dies, replaced by the resurrected Christ "in us.

We need to keep reminding us about this in our mind and our prayers keep strengthening our faith.
@SW-User Amen. We need to definitely walk daily with the Lord and the more we read His Word and fellowship with Him in prayer, or just talking to Him in our daily life as we go through the day, this really builds our faith in our daily walk with the Lord.

This website is really messing up today and doesn't what to send my messages to you.

Ma'am, it took me some time to really understand Galatians 2:20 KJV. However this verse gives a lot of hope. Thank you for sharing. I don't know much about Paul and I need to read his story.
