Salvation - Don't Miss It - Or Heaven

There's quite a bit in the Bible that people are just not aware of, but have closed off their mind to. So in effect, they have lost a lot of good information that a person truly needs to know about their own soul, given the fact that this life is so very miniscule, compared to where they'll spend eternity. Definitely something we want to think about. Some, gamble with their own soul, and that's not really a smart decision. In fact, many are oblivious that they have their facts mixed up about God and His Word. It's shocking how little they actually know and understand about both. Even more amazing, is that some think they have the authority to change God's perfect plan of salvation. God put it in place for good reason. It works!

Many don't want to hear about God or what's in His Word, but they really should, given that His advise will help them determine where their soul spends eternity. Further, I just want to mention, that I've been in the political arena for years. Campaigned and all. However, I don't care for crooked politicians nor political debates, myself, but I've never felt it was shoved onto me, when addressed here. Nobody forced me to read it. I simply skipped past it. So, if you're not interested, while God says you're making a terrible mistake to neglect the care of your own soul, feel free to skip this post and move on, but please have the common courtesy to restrain from rude comments. To be fair to yourself, I think you should at least think about the reason why Jesus came, and then you'll understand why He and His Word are discussed around the world. This is the one thing that Jesus didn't want us to miss out on and is imperative that we don't ignore. It's not about the religions of this world. Religion and denomination have absolutely nothing to do with salvation. It's about having a personal relationship with the God of this universe, if we wish to have eternal life in heaven. Anyone can have it.

Jesus came to earth for the specific reason of telling everyone He came across, about the fact that there is a spiritual world that we go to when we die, and He wanted to make sure that everyone would be sure to know how to get there and not have to guess about that. It was definitely important enough for Him to come all the way from heaven to tell us about it, or I'm sure he would never have left his Heavenly home. Had it not been for Jesus, we never would have known exactly what happens to us when we die, and that's something we definitely don't want to miss or guess about, as eternity is such a long time to get it wrong. Jesus taught how we can have eternal life in heaven, and that we all have living souls that never die. He wanted to make sure that no souls would stay lost, but knew how to find their way to heaven, and that's exactly what he preached.

Now, I don't know about you, but I think that's a really good thing, because I definitely want to have that knowledge, so I don't miss heaven. I want my soul to end up in the [b]best
place, when I die. So when His mission was finished and he ascended into heaven to join His Father in heaven, He left His disciples with the commission to continue to tell the world about Himself, why He came, and why we need Him, in order to get to heaven. This is why you see the gospel being preached to the world today. Otherwise, people would not know they need Jesus, and too many would stay lost, and the Bible does tell us, that if we ignore Christ and His message of salvation, sin will continue to keep us seperated from God.

These things are crucial to know, given we have souls that never die. And I would bet that the souls that have already missed heaven, would give absolutely anything to be able to come back from the dead and tell people they love, that heaven and hell are real, and beg them not to neglect their own soul. I know that sounds dramatic, yes, but so is missing heaven. Once a person crosses over into the spiritual realm, there's no changing their mind, so that's why it's so important to prepare our souls for heaven now, and not wait. Jesus is not willing that any should perish, and that's why Jesus came...to tell us exactly how to get to heaven, but you know what? Some are so stubborn, that even if one were to come back from the dead, they still would not listen. And that's exactly what it says in God's Word.

Contrary to belief, people don't "automatically" go to heaven. Our sins must be forgiven, or they will keep us separated from God, for eternity. The Bible says we cannot be dragging our sins into heaven with us, or it wouldn't even be heaven. God the Father is pure and Holy. No sin can be allowed in His prescence. Therefore, His Son, Jesus, came into the world to be our Mediator between God and man, and also as our Savior, so that when we come to Jesus with our sins and ask Him to forgive us, He will definitely do that and He turns no one away. However, leave your soul to chance, and your sins will be sure to keep you seperated from God. I know many don't believe what Jesus said, but the second they cross into eternity, they'll see it for themselves.

I'm certain those who have already missed heaven, would give anything right now, to be in our shoes and once again have the opportunity to hear and respond to Christ's invitation to save them from the condemnation that sin placed on them and to receive forgiveness and heaven, instead of the choice they made to mock, laugh, and curse the one person who only wanted to save them...Jesus.

These people would also give anything to warn their loved ones.... but many of their loved ones would be too hard hearted to listen.

@LadyGrace You are correct- sorry if you read it as a critique, I may have been unclear.
@BritishFailedAesthetic no no I didn't read it as a critique. I just wanted to let you know that I had already included that in my post.
