“How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord...

and was confirmed to us, by those who heard Him …?” Hebrews 2:3.

God said His way is The Sure Way

Romans 10:3 "For they, being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God."

We are called to such a great salvation. Jesus can save to the uttermost, those who come to God through Him. (Hebrews 7:25) You will not be judged because you are so wretched, but because you do not believe. “Yes,” you say, “but not all have faith.” Correct! Those who are unreasonable, stubborn, prideful, and wicked, do not believe. (2 Thessalonians 3:2) You cannot believe in this salvation, and at the same time, love this world.

Romans 6:23 says that sin brings with it, death, "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ' 'Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12).

"The fool says in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, thereis none that doeth good." Psalm 14:1

This verse speaks of our "goodness" in comparison to God's righteousness. That's the point. We can never match up to the standard of God's perfection. He knows that and does not condemn us for that. However, in order to stand before God in heaven, it takes perfection, and that comes only when we confess our sins to Jesus and ask him for forgiveness. He forgives us, washes our sins away, and remembers them no more. Only then does God the Father see us as "righteousness" because of Jesus' "work" on the cross, which paid IN FULL, the sins of those who accept His plan of salvation.

Jesus died on the cross for one reason only and He had us on his mind when he did it. Sin always separates us from God...until...we ask God to forgive our sins, which He readily does, then forgets them forever. We can't be dragging our sins into heaven or it wouldn't and couldn't, be called heaven. That means we have to have our sins forgiven and that's why Jesus came, to save us from hell, by forgiving us of our sins, when we ask him to. He turns no one away. As soon as God forgives our sins, we are then fit to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and we are reunited in fellowship with God. God not only said He loves us, He proved it on the cross. Who do you know, that loves you so much, they would die for you to save you from hell? Who would take your place to save you from hell? No one would. But Jesus loves you so much, He did. He was trying to show you that.

IF....we turn Him away, without our sins being erased and forgiven by him, that will KEEP us seperated from Him for eternity. In all fairness, God cannot allow sin to be in heaven or it wouldn't be heaven. At least he didn't leave a stranded here to just go to hell. He said come to me and I will help you get to heaven when you cross over. But if we leave our soul to chance, our sins will still condemn us and we will be forever separated from God. Eternity is a very long time to get it wrong. This is not how we want our ending. An eternity separated from God, in hell. And not because he wants us there, but because we refused to allow him to help us avoid hell. He made a special Plan of Salvation, so that none of us would have to miss heaven. That's something everyone needs to understand. This is a choice we each make, whether we want to accept Jesus' Plan of Salvation or not. God doesn't send anyone to hell. We send ourselves to Hell by refusing to allow him to rescue us from hell. So if we curse him and tell him we want nothing at all to do with him and mock him, what is he supposed to do? We were the ones that rejected him, if that is the case. If we tell him "no", then he is going to honor our request. No one has to miss heaven. Only by their own stubbornness and pride.
