One-world Religion Smoke-screen Linked To The End Times In The Book of Revelation
The Book of Revelation reveals that immediately following the rapture, the Antichrist shall come forth and enforce his one-world government and one-world religion. The purpose, to gain power, worship, and control.
To control people, commerce must be controlled. Revelation 13:16 describes how "Everyone, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave", will be forced to receive a special mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, in order to buy or sell anything. No doubt those left behind after the rapture of the God's people, will do anything to be able to eat, function, and survive in this world. Everything will be controlled and designed around the worship of the Beast, and the power behind him shall be Satan.
As you can see, one world religion solves nothing:
1. It promotes control and automatic manipulation.
2. It only squeezes all "marked" worshippers of the Antichrist, into one neat bundle, for easier control. Those who refuse the mark, shall be killed. Revelation 13:15
3. God describes one world religion in Revelation 17:1-18 as "the great harlot", as part of the tribulation period... the end times.
4. The term "harlot" is used throughout the Old Testament as a metaphor for false religion, false teachers, and false prophets.
5. One world religion takes place under the false prophet during the end times, revealed in Revelation 17:1-18 and gives several characteristics of it.
A one-world government and a one-world currency shall be established under the antichrist's rule.
John describes the ruler of this vast empire, as having "power and great authority", given to him by Satan himself (Revelation 13:2).
This ruler receives worship from “all the world” (Revelation 13:3–4) and will have authority over “every tribe, people, language and nation” (Revelation 13:7). This person will truly be the leader of a one-world government that is recognized as sovereign, over all other governments.
The world will be under one rule; that of one government, triggered for the illusion of worldwide peace, the absence of war, and the elimination of all political unrest.
Though it may be agreed that man needs hope in order to endure this life and have peace of mind, the problem lies in where man searches for such hope. The problem with the acceptance and approval of any New World Order is that no government has ever offered, nor will it ever offer, real hope and peace for mankind. When man turns to government to provide worldwide peace and hope, he becomes disillusioned and enslaved by its false promises. History has proven time and again that man doesn't even learn from history. He just keeps repeating the same old mistakes.
Those who desire the ushering in of a New World Order, whether secular or religious, are in for a rude awakening. The truth is, man's false religious philosophies/teachings can never bring bliss and utopia into being, regardless of man’s creativity and ingenuity. Only Jesus can bring lasting peace and happiness.
All things associated with this life on earth, with its sufferings, death, hopelessness, and immorality, will continue with this physical life (2 Corinthians 4:16; Hebrews 9:27). Jesus came to give us real life and hope and an eternity in heaven, where the corrupt things of this world, don't exist.(Revelation 21:3-7 and Revelation 22).
It is the hope of heaven we need, not the false hope of a New World Order. The one hope for all believers, lies in Jesus (John 14:1-4); not in things here on earth.
