John 1:1- the Truth they aren't TELLING you...

LadyGrace · 70-79
What are you getting at here? The Word WAS God.

John 1

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

@theMadJW Scripture confirms that GOD is defined as three seperate people, yet all are united and function as One; consisting of God the Father, God the Son, which is Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit. Together, they are called God. One does nothing without the other's knowledge and they always consult with each other over every decision to be made.

Picture husband and wife. They are two separate people, yet they are described as "one", and make decisions together. The same goes for God, except they are three in one, and they all function together and make decisions together. Though people don't understand that, that doesn't mean they don't exist. If God had meant for us to know every single thing about them, I'm sure he would have told us in His Word, yet He did explain some things. He told us what he wanted us to know, for now. He told us what was important for us to know. Scripture confirms throughout the bible, that they are three in one, referred to as God.

God did not leave us to guess about spiritual matters. The answers are all in His Word and it is not up to man to try to manipulate God nor His Word, in order to fit his own agenda or fantasies about what he THINKS is right. It is also not given to man to change God's Plan of Salvation. God did not give man permission nor authority to do so. How ludicrous of man to try and change everything God established. God does not answer to us and we are not Superior to him in any way, shape, or form. Man needs to get off his high horse and harness his ego, because he is never going to be superior, nor smarter, nor wiser than God! Man, with his FINITE understanding, shouldn't try to put God in a box of his own making, for manipulation, nor try to pawn his own man-made theories/philosophies off on society and call them "truth" . It doesn't work that way. God said, if what we say does not match up exactly with his own Word, then we are false teachers and liars.

God knows better than man, any day and when he goes messing with God's Word and twisting it around to his own liking, that is nothing but false teaching, which God does not approve of, nor authorize. Man has gotten too big for his britches, thinking he knows better than God and that he's wiser than God, when it was God who made man, not the other way around. There's plenty of false teachers out there and you can tell who they are, since their words never match up with God's Word, and the arrogance of man to try to twist scripture and call it "truth" is astounding, appalling, wholly irresponsible, and arrogant. False teachers will answer to God, for leading people astray and away from God, and thereby, causing them to miss heaven because they believed a lie. Not one of us knows better than God and that's why God the Father appointed and approved only Jesus as Savior of the world. Man is so ignorant to even entertain the idea, that he could save himself.

@theMadJW Thank you! Glad you like it.

Moses palled around with God all the time. Moses and his buddies went on a picnic with God. Moses and God were always having face-to-face conversations. So, either all of those passages are lies or else John 1:18 is a lie.

(Of course, when it's all a fairytale the whole thing is imaginary and just a hoax to fool gullible superstitious people.)
I can see why your mad when one of you highest leaders gets fired. Lol

So there was a beginning then?
'Was in the beginning with god'
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@theMadJW So you agree there was a beginning. Cool. Anything that has a beginning has an ending.
theMadJW · 61-69, M
@Entwistle Except if it lasts FOREVER! Ecc 1:4- A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains for ever.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@theMadJW No,if anything has a beginning it definitely will have an ending. In fact the very next moment is the ending.
