Nope..
He was an malevolent saboteur who tried to sabotage Gods creation,, But God foreknew what He would do and already had a solution in the plans to Redeem His creation..

@Adstar 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: John 3

Why did Moses use a serpent to heal the nation?

@Heavenlywarrior God told him to.. God was establishing a symbolic representation of the future crucifiction of Jesus.. That Jesus would in that moment represent all sin and take all the sins with Him in His sacraficial death.. The physical healing was symbolic of the futre Atonement for Sin Jesus would secure by being lifted up upon the cross..

(2 Corinthians 5:20-21) "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. {21} [c=7700B2]For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him[/c]."

(Isaiah 53:4-5) "¶ Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. {5} But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed(Isaiah 53:6) "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."."

@Adstar very true. That’s why the serpent was used as a medium for Good. A symbol of healing and wisdom.

The Elohim / elowaah didn’t want Adam to have knowledge of good and evil.

@Heavenlywarrior YAVEH did not want Humans to have the knowledge of good and evil because at the time and even today us humans do not have the ability to have the knowledge of good and evil without doing evil, transgressing against the good standards of God.. So yeah YAVEH knew that the knowledge of good and evil would lead to the suffering that humanity have inflicted upon each other over these many generations, But again it was only for a time.. God had a solution already planned..

@Adstar YAVEH was not mentioned until the Israelites were in eygpt.

The Rulers or Sons Of God were the ones that told “Adam” not to eat of it . They wanted Adam to be ignorant of good and evil.

This is who the Elohim were or the Elowaah… Ancient Nature Spirits that still exist.

@Heavenlywarrior

God Himself visited Adam and Eve and He told them..

(Genesis 2:15-17) "And [c=7700B2]the LORD God[/c] took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. {16} And [c=7700B2]the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: {17} But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it[/c]: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Yes Adam was designed to be innocent.. Like a little one.. While He kept His innocence He was Good, in the eyes of God.. Once He took on the knowledge of good and evil, He became unacceptable / sabotarged / defective..

@Adstar everywhere it says God it’s Elohim. Elowaah. Which is Plural.

Adam was stronger than the angels/ sons of god. so they put him to sleep and split him into 2 . No longer being androgynous.

But his feminine nature did listen to the snake which caused the rulers to curse man.
