It doesn't matter what your religion is to me but this is true and it happened to me while I was in Egypt. Which Pharoah chased Moses across the Red Sea?
I went back to church after it reopened. I feel we are in a really precarious time and I needed to be there. Anyway, the sermon was about Exodus and Moses leading the chosen people across the Red Sea.
After the sermon, i asked the minister who the pharoah was. He said "I don't know" I told him i was going to Egypt and would find out. kind of shocked him.
we were on the bus headed to the Valley of the Kings. I was talking to some ladies behind me. I said we might be in the land of the pharoahs but we are also in the land of Moses. their mouths dropped open.
I asked the tour guide if she knew who he was. they are kind of touchy about their pharoahs. She told me Merenpbah, Ramses II son. (I am a history geek)
We were given 4 tickets to see Ramses 4, 5 and 6 who are buried together, Ramses 9 and King Tut. I took a wrong turn and ended up in Merenpbah's tomb. What are the chances?
It was a God thing for sure. The tour guide said she didn't tell me where he was because it was an adventure. I told the ladies about the wrong turn and they agreed. A God thing. Here he is

Is it safe to move around there? Better with a guide?
@SW-User we had an armed guard with us on the bus...armed with an UZI. we had to be retrieved from the market and taken out back alleys. but the Valley is very safe. here is what it looks like

@akindheart thanks, I know international travel these days is a roll of the dice.
@SW-User we had zero problems getting to and out of Egypt. honestly the best trip of my life. However, i was supposed to go to China and you know that story.
