Do you consider dreams reality?

Personally I don't.

Yes there is hope and dreams are apart of hope. Yet often in the media they describe dreams as reality.

As the American media often says "the American dream" is often sought after. Often they might mean a home or other such possessions. Yet many have other dreams and or hopes that are beyond what is real. Some never attaining any portion of their own dreams or hopes.

True dreams and hopes can be attained in future generations. Yet again never for themselves.

Often the media portraits dreams as possessions of various types of physical things. Yet does anyone really own anything? 🤷🏻‍♂️

This topic is in relation to a whole bunch of philosophical things that are not based on religion or beliefs.

Recently I was discussing about religion and money. Where I was attempting to describe money as being evil. This nor other topics are not a Christian issues because many beliefs have a serious problem with money.

YET...

Gosh darn it why the heck isn't there a cotton picking "Philosophy" group‽‽‽!!!

Beliefs is the closest, yet far from being satisfactory.

This should be the hierarchy!

Where religion has all the actual RELIGIONS.

Yes, there should be a Philosophy Group. I agree, money IS evil and has nothing to do with religion. Some will do anything to get it, not caring who or how they hurt anyone. On the other hand, I think some dreams are real. I dreamt a long time ago something horrible was going to happen. I couldn't remember WHAT?! I sat up in bed wide awake with this feeling of dread. A few weeks later I was involved in a car accident.

@Bertie I have a hard time even remembering most dreams. Yet having a kid is the most prominent dream.

I can even describe her.

@DeWayfarer I don't remember a lot of them either. But the other night I dreamt a man was at the top of a staircase looking down at me saying he'd see me later? When he tried to tell me his name, loud noises happened and I couldn't hear him? He said something like Rue...? I saw him clearly too! He had short dark hair, he was kind of pudgy. He was just there in my dream watching me. I saw his face.

@Bertie my point is most dreams are not predictive. Not just your dreams.

In my case they obviously are not predictive as well as the vast majority of people.

I don't put down any for having predictive dreams. Yet the cases have shown something like 95% of dreams are not predictive. That still leaves 5% that still are.

You are likely in that 5%. I most definitely am not. 🤷🏻‍♂️ 😢

That is the reality of the situation.

I have yet to have any predictive dreams. The best I can say is having predictive thoughts while awake. Yet even that is not a dream. That most definitely is my alter ego talking back to me.

Mostly because I knew, yet didn't process all the information, where my ego had already figured it out.

Yes I do hear my alter ego. Very recognizable to me. That is another known category that few are willing to study.

It's possible though you can't hear your alter ego where I can. I hear it every day. Sometimes all throughout the time I am awake.
