How much does the way someone look impact the way you view them.

If Jesus looked like This

Instead of this would it affect your faith?

If Hitler didn't look like a crazy ass white guy would he still have been the Führer

I was thinking about this because when i was growing up in the church Hinckley was the president, He was this small frail old Father Zosima type (from the Brothers Karamazov) who's voice cracked as he talked. I loved him and i believed in everything he talked about and said. I would even receive his books sometimes on the holiday's. books like, " Way to be by Gordon B. Hinkley" or "Stand a little taller" from my grandparents and I read them and I believed in what they represented.

In contrast when he passed away and Thomas S. Monson became the president he reminded me more of a villain character in the Robin hood movies.

Which doesn't make him a bad person or less spiritual it just made him less real to me.

My take is you all get changed according to the person you want to be in your life. A policeman, military officials are hard at the physical structure. Politicians are soft or fluffy, not if it's a blend from armed forces. A true doctor is soft at heart. A painter and a poet, both are imaginative. Your looks do change with your preferences in lives.

@Peterpaul17 I agree with this.
