What makes Jesus, alone, trustworthy to be Savior of the world?

[b][c=666666]How would you feel if the only option to save your life, was to have open heart surgery, but with no anesthesia or painkillers?

You'd be terrified and wish there was another option, right?

Now think of how Jesus felt, as the time for Him to face His death, fast approached, and He knew there was no other way He could save mankind, but to suffer the pain and agony of the cross.

The Bible says He was so terrified, He sweat drops of blood. He didn't even ask His Father to take His suffering away. What He said, was "Father, if thou be WILLING... if there is any other way, that man can be saved, remove this cup from me; NEVERTHELESS ,THY WILL BE DONE." He was faithful unto death. No one forced Him to die. He volunteered. What did all the other gods do, to save you from hell? What sacrifice did they make for you?

None.

They didn't offer one thing on your behalf. They couldn't, because they were either man-made gods/idols or simple men filled with sin, themselves. What it took to save us, was a pure, sinless sacrifice... worthy enough to pay for our sins. That was the requirement in the spiritual world, if we were to be saved.

The highest expression of love, one could ever give, is to die for another. Jesus was more than willing to pay that price, not only to prove His unlimited love for us, but also that we could avoid the condemnation sin placed on us, so we could live with Him in heaven, for eternity. Without His blood sacrifice, we'd have all ended up in hell...lost forever.

"Without the shedding of blood, there IS no remission [sacrifice, removal, washing away] of sins." Hebrews 9:22

If there were any other way for people to be saved, don’t you think Jesus would have mentioned it? If there were any way at all for us to be saved by following religion or having enough wealth or fame, intelligence or power, doing good deeds, or by worshipping man-made idols, don’t you think God would have just provided this information for us? This proves Jesus' love for us and His trustworthiness to keep us from hell, the only way He could. He was not selfish in any way. He could have let us die in our sins, but that's not what He wanted. And He proved it. Not one other "god" in this world, deserves or is worthy of our love, honor, respect and praise, except our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the only one, Father God appointed and approved to be our Mediator between God and man and Savior of this world.

Very informative post. Thank you for sharing. Very selfless act by Jesus to save the man kind and the world. Truly an inspiration.
As you know I do worship Idols. However i respect the information that you have shared and I consider someone like you throwing light about any wrong practices that we follow as truly humbling.
@SW-User You're so kind. I wasn't sure if you were worshiping idols or not. No matter what religion or denomination or church we go to, Jesus loves us all the same. I'm glad you liked my article, my friend.

Thank you@SW-User .
It is very difficult to find such humble and grounded people like you. It doesn't matter which religion you belong to. Jesus loves everyone. Acknowledging the Truth despite the limitations of one's cultural practices is the sign of a sincere learner. Many a times I find people arguing when confronted with truth. People like you are real gems. Hope you will accept the Truth completely soon.

@LadyGrace Indeed he is very kind. In a world were there are many trolls, people like @SW-User is a true blessing. I haven't met many who happen to be so polite and humble. May God guide him
@SW-User You got that right! He is a genuine gentleman who loves the Lord.
@SW-User I only share what I have learned from the Bible. I have always said that nobody has to believe what I believe. I love them anyway. And I've never tried to force anyone to believe what I believe. And when I do speak about the things in the Bible, that is why I always mention that Jesus said it, not me. He is the final Authority and only Authority. So I only quote Him. I am only here to share what I believe, not to push them off on anyone. I'm so grateful for what the Lord did for me in my life, I told Him that from that day forth, I would tell people about Him and how great He is. And I have kept that promise for 49 years.

@LadyGrace Thank you very much. It is so pleasing and inspiring to hear about your devotion to the Lord.
Thank you @SW-User and @LadyGrace, I am truly humbled by your kind words. Your encouragement motivates me even further to live up to the Word of God.

@SW-User Excellent 👌. I admire your receptiveness to the Truth. Irrespective of which religion we are brought up, we can always deconstruct our limited beliefs and allow them to work for us rather than against us. When the life you are living is less than what you want, that is a clear indication that your thinking has been limited by external messages. We are here to learn, grow and contribute within the guidance and protection of a wiser construct - the one and only one Almighty God.
SW-User
@LadyGrace Absolutely. You have put it precisely. Jesus is the final Authority and the only Authority.
@SW-User I wish I could explain things like you just wrote to Taurusian. You said it's so perfect and beautifully. You are the brightest shining Light to this hurting world, and to our Lord Jesus. I cannot thank you enough for being here and sharing yourself with us all, when I know you're a terribly busy person. I love you sister, and I love you, brother Taurusian. God bless you both and keep you protected and healthy and prosperous as long as you live.
SW-User
That is so kind of you @LadyGrace . Thank you very much. I am happy to contribute my bit and would be glad if it is of some help.
@SW-User You are always a help, sister. I'm honored you are here.
SW-User
@LadyGrace Thank you. Sister 🤗
