Also, it is not okay to have more than one wife. You will call it a Brostle. And there would be no difference between a pig's haram and a human being.
@Peterthe1 it’s not about okay or not okay
I was having a convo with a Christian and she claimed the Bible says you can’t but that’s not what the Bible says.

@Islamreligion But can a man be an animal? How cruel to think about it? A human being is the best creation of the Lord. Having 10 wives? That is not good at all.
@Peterthe1 where does Islam say a man can be an animal?
Idk what you are quoting sir.
+ islam allows up to 4 idk where you got 10 from?
And a Muslim woman can easily make the condition during her marriage contract that he can’t marry another and if he agrees then he can’t marry another wife
It’s as simple as that Sir

@Islamreligion It is kind of cruel to let a person have more than one wife. It is not in the best interest of the kids.

Also, when you marry one of your near relatives, it is not genetically wise. Also, one should morally leave uncle's children.
@Peterthe1 how can it be cruel when the woman doesn’t mind? As I stated a woman in her nikah contract can make the condition that her husband can’t marry another in the future if she assumes he has that kind of idea
The marriage contract makes both spouses agree on many aspects before they are married
So if they have differences they can stop the marriage before it happens.
I believe this is wise.

And yes I completely agree with you I do not believe it’s genetically wise.
Even prophet Mohammed said not to marry cousins and family in succession
Yet there are certain cultures who keep marrying cousins a generation after the other
And I agree with you it’s not correct

@LadyGrace “true “
So you are saying Abraham David Solomon etc
Were all bad? Weren’t God happy with them?
And it doesn’t say you can only marry one , it only says to avoid fornication you can only sleep with your own spouse.
And what if it’s singular?
Not necessarily all men have more than one
It’s a general rule
I can say similar things in english and it would be in general

@LadyGrace even in Islam fornication and adultery are forbidden it’s one of the biggest sins.

Fornication and adultery both mean sexual intercourse between people not married to each other.
So technically Abraham was not a fornicator or are you saying he was?

You did not back yourself
All the verses you mentioned are condemning relationships outside of marriage.

And I didn’t say but facts
It was the church who banned marrying more than one woman in 1800s-1900s
And not the book
many Christians scholars have disagreed throughout history among each other in this matter.

I wouldn’t want my husband to marry another
Nor allow it
So I’m not advocating for it
Im just saying it’s allowed in Islam as an option and so it is in Christianity, real Christianity

@LadyGrace exactly Gods words speak for itself. Your verses spoke about relationships outside of marriage not within.
Old laws
new laws
Just like how you avoided beating your slave almost to death verse
it’s all the same God.
Plus the new law doesn’t say marry one wife in any verse
The old law also condemned fornication and adultery but you need to know the definition it’s relationships outside of marriage
I think by this point it’s pointless to continue this discussion
People have agreed to disagree

@LadyGrace do not generalize
“that is why people from other beliefs cannot have a pleasant and peaceful conversation “
I have been pleasant
And because I want to keep being pleasant it’s pointless to keep this conversation.

Do you want me to show you screenshots of Christians sharing their beliefs in a disgusting manner ?
Do not generalize
Not every Christian is respectful
Just like how not every Muslim is
