Islam doesn’t say you must marry 4 But You can marry 4 However woman can in her marriage contract say he can’t marry another then ig he agrees he can’t.

As for women cannot marrying others It’s bc women receive dowry But if they can marry many She will marry and divorce for money Also because Islam is for all time What if she gets pregnant and she doesn’t know who’s kid it is ? And many other reasons

Men give dowry to women to make her happy Men spend on women but it’s her choice to spend on him or not Why? @Emosaur believers are divided into levels in Islam Not all can be like prophet Mohammed But it’s better to be something than nothing. The Quran also later revealed : Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often.
And when we look at the life of prophet Mohammed he never hit a woman Although conflicts happened in his household Not even that but many times his father in law would try to hit his daughter (prophet Mohammeds wife ) for disrespecting prophet Mohammed or something but he would get in the way and stop him and protect his wife and lighten the mood with his softness insteadd And in various hadeeths he talking about not hitting women
And That verse is highly debated among Muslims and scholars

"Do not harm them" is explicitly mentioned. You and I both clearly know, since you keep talking about Islam's teachings, Ibn Abbaas explained when the people asked in the past, recorded in Tafsir Tabari if I am not mistaken 🤔 I can search it for you myself if you want, that you hit without harming her or leaving a bruise, using something like the little toothpick brushes they use called مسوق. What kind of beating or hitting is that? It certainly won't hurt but it sure will get your attention
Furthermore, the usage of this is with ignoring her. You are distancing yourself from her. The term ضرب used in the Qur'an historically 1400+ years ago encompassed the concept of striking, from a hammer hitting a railroad nail to just simply jokingly slapping your friend on the shoulder. In my university, we would say إضربه "hit him" as play.
