Do you think it's wrong having different religious beliefs at the same time instead of sticking to one

I believe in Jesus but I like other religions as well but I have a few friends and there after putting the fear of God into me saying it's wrong.
Like my friends are Christian's and Cathoilics and they only believe in just that right , but I'm very open to others and if I bring up different religious beliefs one could come back to me and "say Don't put no false Gods before me " .
That freaks me cause I be thinking is that person over the top about it and since my friends be saying that i can distant myself from them cause i believe a lot of religious beliefs can help people out .
What's your view ? I'm just freaked out from it .
I can't enjoy reading books over it cause what they say is in my subconscious

This is my decision about it.

1. I believe in one God.
2. I think God has sent us many prophets at many times in many places.
3. I think if a person is seeking God and trying to achieve a closer adherence to what God wants of us, God will understand our hearts.
4. Many people who practice an organized religion are sincere and truly believe. Many aren't and don't.
5. Rather than try to sort out exactly which rules are right and which are wrong, I find it more uplifting and rewarding to believe God created us, knows us, and would not have given us a Rubic's cube to solve before we could find truth.
6. I think God is always ready to forgive and receive us, and I don't think anyone who tries to prevent that is doing God's work.
