My experience with CoolSculpting

I had my first treatment today on my chin. They used 2 applicators that overlapped on each side for a total of 2 treatments.

It was more painful than I expected, but the second time around on my right side wasn't as bad. Maybe because my pain tolerance went up.

It hurts like hell for the first 5 minutes, and then the pain starts to subside, and it just feels cool. At the end of the treatment, they massage the area for 2 minutes, and it really hurt the first time. I also felt a sensation of heat.

Now I'm home, and my chin is a tiny bit sore if I touch it.

At first, I was questioning if I would have done this if I had known how painful it would be, but I'm prepared to do another round if needed. I have to wait 6 weeks to see the final result.

I'll post before and after pics at the end.

Hope it works out for you 🪷
Can they give you ibuprofen or something to numb the area? Do you ice the area afterwards for swelling?
@SW-User I'm going to take some Tylenol before I go next time.

No icing the area afterwards. It feels a little numb right now anyway.

@MsSwan ah ok. Do something good for yourself. How far in between sessions?
@SW-User I have to wait 6 weeks to see the final result and decide if I need a second. They said most people have two sessions done.
SW-User
@MsSwan oh I see. So it could be one time. Either way at least you'll know what to expect. Good for you. I'd be a little scared.
@SW-User Yes, each treatment reduces about 25% of fat cells.

It was scary at first. I wanted to rip the thing off and forget about it, lol. After five minutes the pain went away though and I calmed down.
SW-User
@MsSwan omg brave, but hopefully they prepared you for what to expect.
@SW-User They said it would be painful but you don't know how painful until you experience it.
SW-User
@MsSwan whoa, I guess I'd have to be if it's got the ability to freeze 25% off.
@SW-User Yes 🥶😆
