My experience with CoolSculpting

I had my first treatment today on my chin. They used 2 applicators that overlapped on each side for a total of 2 treatments.

It was more painful than I expected, but the second time around on my right side wasn't as bad. Maybe because my pain tolerance went up.

It hurts like hell for the first 5 minutes, and then the pain starts to subside, and it just feels cool. At the end of the treatment, they massage the area for 2 minutes, and it really hurt the first time. I also felt a sensation of heat.

Now I'm home, and my chin is a tiny bit sore if I touch it.

At first, I was questioning if I would have done this if I had known how painful it would be, but I'm prepared to do another round if needed. I have to wait 6 weeks to see the final result.

I'll post before and after pics at the end.

Did they give you anything for the pain? Wishing you all the best. Can't wait for the before and after pictures. 🙂
@Musicman No, nothing for the pain. You just have to bear it. 😭 😆

@MsSwan Next time take some Tylenol or Motrin an hour before the procedure. Get ahead of the pain.
@Musicman Good idea! I wonder why they don't suggest that.

@MsSwan Sadly some of these people are not too bright. My wife had a vaginal biopsy done in the doctor's office. They told her to take two Tylenol 10 minutes before the procedure. 🤦‍♂ Everyone knows it takes 40 to 60 minutes for pills like that to kick in. Even Google says 40 to 60 minutes. She was definitely not happy during the biopsy.
@Musicman Oh no! That's terrible.
