It's okay to be beautiful

Physical beauty is an ideal not to be condemned as mere objectifying. Men seek a beautiful mate because valuing youth, health and attractive form in a woman is good for the survival of our species. Does this ideal contribute to men wanting to control the reproductive cycle of women? To create children with a beautiful woman is a goal that doesn't involve every woman. It must be something else, and that something is clinging to outdated traditions in faith-based religions and nuclear families. Is it wrong for young women to value and flaunt their good looks? Are they falling prey to male control by doing so? Absolutely not! Only the woman who fails to develop her other assets might be accused of this. And let us not forget that men are equally adored by women. It might be better hidden but it is equally intense. If there is disparity in the number of gender specific images it's because men are driven by vision. I just thought I'd add some needed common sense to the discussion. Shoot me. 💗

Sorry. I had to re-post this because one word kept it from appearing in the main feed.

Let beauty be flaunted.
There is nothing wrong with that.😊
