Someone tell me the reason😭I’m just curious

The word "small face" is a very good word in Japan, but I heard that it’s different in other countries. But when i watching makeup videos on YouTube, they using contour powder around their faces. I wanna know the reason😭 why do you use contour powder even tho you don’t like the word? Because if you used contour powder, then your face looks smaller.(i think)

Contouring around the face makes it look slimmer – not necessarily smaller per se. But that's not for everyone. Different techniques for different face shapes. It's kinda going out of style as of recent years. Was a big thing around 2016 or so.
