I hate my looks

And this makes you a tougher person. You have learned from experience and you are better for it. Looks are looks-- they come and go. What matters is the way a person is.

I'm sorry you feel that way and have to deal with that. I know it doesn't help, but I know for a fact that lots of gorgeous looking people feel like absolute shit about themselves anyway so you aren't alone in your feelings. Just as it would be nice if nobody judged you on your scars, don't forget that you don't know how people feel about themselves even if they look like a model to you.
