Still Being Mistaken for Someone Really Young

I don't know if one could call this a "problem", but I still get mistaken for being someone much younger. Like 15 years younger.
Actually, no, this isn't something that actually causes issues for me. After all, I am in fact old enough to drive a car, vote, drink alcohol (not that I want to, but...) and do all of the other "adult" things that many of us used to look forward to when we were in school.
I am, however, curious as to why this even happens, because how on Earth can you determine someone's age just by looking at them? Unless you happen to be a toddler, or someone really ancient (like over 90), it just isn't possible. Right? 🤔

You are blessed to look younger so many would give a right hand to have such blessings

@DLight no you can be 15 to get your learners everywhere
@Birdbox1986 No, to get your L plates, you have to be 17.

So if you're 26 you look 11? or 15 if you're 30?
@ironborn I'm actually 33. The age range in my profile is wrong.

@DLight ah, gotcha..

We all sum up people by looks in seconds. Judge a book by its cover. Often we judge incorrectly.
