I Look Younger Than I Am

@Ian123 Well, the main problem is that they don't respect me or take me seriously. They question whether or not I can "handle" doing things that I've done several times before they came. (My job has a lot of new employees)

Sometimes it comes in handy and gets me out of unpleasant tasks that I'd rather not do but it can be insulting and cause others to look down on me or get confused about what my position is. I just have a pet peeve about being under estimated, always have.

@coffeedimplez I see, thats not so good. I know its not easy but can't you tell your manager about what is going on and how you feel about it. Nobody wants to feel under estimated. I would certainly give it a go and see what they say. Its possible they dont know you are unhappy

@Ian123 Yes I could let her know whats going on. I guess I worry that complaining will reinforce the idea that I'm a child. My manager doesn't underestimate me, its more an issue with other co-workers.

@coffeedimplez Thats ok then, if your manager knows what you can do you have nothing to worry about. There's nothing wrong with complaining now and again, you have to stand up for yourself. All will be ok, you'll see 👍
