Ladies, what would you say or do if your partner asked you to consider having breast implants ?

I would say, “You try them first and see how they feel and maybe I’ll consider it.”

@Nimbus Actually, I was going to get a breast implant after I lost one breast due to breast cancer but I decided not to. The surgery site is like two war zones, too sensitive and also numb in areas at the same time, and I get nerve pain from time to time. I know a woman who had breast reduction and both of these surgeries leave you numb and areas desensitized. A long time ago a friend had implants but I didn’t know enough at the time to ask if she lost any sensitivity. After what I’ve learned these last ten years I would hazard a guess to say she most likely did. Doctors don’t tell you this until after the surgery, or you know enough to ask, unless that doctor is very forthright about the possible repercussions of such a surgery. So yeah, I wouldn’t do it with what I know, plus the problems with the scanning equipment having difficulty seeing around the implant to detect any abnormalities in the tissues left after the surgery. Just saying, in case anyone has no idea about it, and is considering it.

@Luckylu The doctor won't volunteer that information. They want to be paid.
