Any suggestions for dealing with holiday food pushers [I Am Fat]

Please don't say, "Just say No thank you." By definition, food pushers pay no attention to that.

A friend of mine says, "I can't, I'm on a doctor ordered diet." This works for her most of the time. But some people don't care about your health.

I've noticed that the people who push food on dieters are often the same people that fat shame you the most and also show up at your house with a pizza on what they know is the first week of your new weight loss diet.

I think they enjoy having fat people to feel superior to. No matter what they say, they do not want you to lose weight.

I don’t usually have to worry about that, as a diabetic people take my word about what and how much I can eat. But on the rare occasions in the past when non-family haven’t, I’ve said gently but firmly, “I’m having a good time, but for my health I have to say no, thanks. If you truly care about me and want me around to celebrate with you next year, please respect that.” This is about your health, so you can guilt them just as hard about your right to say “no thanks”.
