I'm the fattest in my country [I Am The Fattest Person I Know]

A few months ago I was watching TV, and I watched a documentary about the fattest woman in my country. I'm 10 pounds heavier than her. I just wanted to die, Is stupid. How could I be the fattest in a country?

1. A lot of people gained weight during quarantine
2. You can always start a diet to change that

@Melpomene Diets don't work well for most people. If they did, there would be no fat people. One statistic I read from a health organization is that the average diet lasts 72 hours. And 98% of those who start a weight loss diet do not reach their weight loss goals nor maintain whatever weight loss they do achieve.

@greenmountaingal My bad, I should've probably clarified it. Diet as in changed regimen of eating. The reason diets don't last and/or work for most people is because they limit themselves thinking they'll eat this or that for 2-3-x weeks and get thinner but the reality doesn't look like that and most of the fat people know it. What they often seem to forget is that to get in shape and keep it you have to know how to prepare and combine food [and also stay active] so it would work in your favour without you feeling starving and exhausted and only thinking of your next meal and then giving up after a day because you barely ate anything and your body is trying to make supplies.
I'm saying this for most of the fat people who're overweight due to negligence, lack of motivation etc. As for the people who have a medical condition that's preventing them from losing weight, they should probably work with their doctors, nutritionists etc. so they could get the best of life.
Those 98% that do not reach their weight loss goals and/or maintain their weight are, mostly, the ones that go back to their old habits that they had before they started dieting and considering them.
I usually don't advise diets but considering the OP said she weights more than the fattest person, I suggested it since being [quite] obese brings other health risks with it.
