@TryingtoLava yeah it was weird, my equifax was 760. The change was a lot

Eqiufax, TransUnion and Experien are the three main ratings agencies but FICO, Fair Issacs Corp. is the main credit aggregator. Banks and mortgage lenders use it to assess credit risk for A credit and top tier applicants.. FICO is the score you want to check, it tops out at 850 (perfect credit) where the other three agencies top out between 900 and 950.

@Telcontar 785!
@TryingtoLava
That’s an excellent FICO score! It will qualify you for some of the lowest interest rates available, your credit application would be approved in minutes

Once your FICO gets above 800 you’re in the lowest risk category and you qualify for the very lowest available interest rates, you can keep building your credit all the way to 850 (which is my goal) but once you’re over 800 everything else is bragging rights.. the real benefit becomes being able to maintain a score above 800 during risk swings that occur periodically, you’ll see your score drop ten or fifteen points for some minor reason but it will come back up in a couple of months.. but with a max score even those bumps won’t push you below 800
