i cant find any love for my body

as a teenager i know it’s normal to think the usual about your body and hating it, i genuinely get so upset when i see myself in the mirror, especially with todays beauty standards. For reference, im 5’’9-10 and quite skinny. although for some that may be a dream i just cannot see myself in a positive light, i always feel as if i don’t have enough “meat on my bones”, in other words, im pretty flat 😭. it’s been a bigggg insecurity of mine, and i always wear baggy clothes to hide it, does anyone have any tips on how to just start liking how my body looks ? looking at my face and the rest of my as a person is pretty much the same story and idek what to do at this point, any help would be appreciated ❤️

I'm not certain there's an easy answer. Have you considered talking to someone professional about it?

@uncalled4 yeah i’ve been talking to my therapist about it but i’m still struggling to find love for what i see in the mirror

@valzgore That's the best you can do, then. It has to begin with you. If someone compliments you, that's nice, but you have to feel good in your own skin. Beauty standards are all over the place. There are lots of mixed messages. But you WILL be accepted because women are beautiful, it literally has kept the human race going!
