I think you spoke too soon. Far from being transformed, the England team proved to be much the same as it has been for some time. (It’s name is England, though people from Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and, bizarrely, the Republic of Ireland are allowed to play for it. Well, we did invent the game. 🤔)

Jesus wept, 39-6 ? OK, well it's better than all out for 26*, but it sounds like the start of a fiasco. And definitely sounds like batting first was a catastrophic decision
