Here's Hoping for a Philadelphia vs. Cleveland World Series.

With my Cubbies out because of the stupid playoff format, I hope it's Philadelphia and Cleveland in the World Series this year. Not for love of either team, but to exclude the other choices.

Los Angeles - 2017
Milwaukee - geography
Atlanta - they signed Greg Maddux !
San Diego - 1984 wasn't born yet but still

Yankees - 1932
Tampa - They're in FLORIDA!
Dirty Hose - need I really explain?

That’s obviously not happening, and quit whining about the playoff format.

For any team, play better and win, or lose and go home. Just like the Mets and all the other teams that didn’t qualify, the Cubs, Astros, Phillies, and Red Sox simply weren’t good enough this year.

The fault lies with the teams, not the format.

What you need to be doing is rooting for the White Sox if you have any loyalty to Chicago.

@beckyromero Or do what I do since I have no control over outcomes. Just relax and be happy for whomever wins, even more so if it’s a team that rarely wins like the Brewers, Guardians, White Sox, or Rays.

I am a lifelong Mets fan, but there have been times I rooted for the Yankees against non-New York opponents.
