Dallas (this being during the 1969-1971 period, before the Senators moved to Dallas from D.C.)

Denver (Denver oilman Marvin Davis failed to buy the A's; in 1979 he tried & failed to buy the Hose)

Milwaukee (Bud Selig considered purchasing the club and moving them; he bought the Pilots instead)

Seattle (mid-70s; and then Oakland owner Charlie Finley was going to move the A's to Chicago)

Toronto (this prior to A.L. expansion in 1977)
