Interesting, I didn't realize the ball is smaller, but the hoop is the same size, meaning, in theory, they should be making a higher precent of the shots.
I do agree with them, that they have been practicing on the same height rim their entire life's, and if you change it, their miss percentages will probably go WAY WAY WAY up...
BUT, also, agree with the thought that if you made their game, the old school physical brand of basketball, that more people might watch.
Of course, I don't know if enough people to make a big enough of a difference or make it worth their wild.
Why, is this issue actually coming up? Is the WNBA considering a change?
Also, really, shorter quarters? Man, NBA games should be 60 minutes games, not 48.. Looks like the WNBA only does 40 min game
