Dan Hurley is top priority and willing to make him highest paid CBB coach ib the land at $11m annually.

@KentuckyWildcats Hurley is already coaching the best program in the country. It’s not all about the money.

Dig up Adolph Rupp. He may be their only hope.

Who’d have thought any Kentucky coach would have ever left for Arkansas?
I keep hearing Donovan's name in the media. Seems like he's the front runner, but we'll see.
Shaka Smart might be a decent choice

@saragoodtimes He has a huge buyout and probably has a job for life at Marquette, which invests literally cartoonishly absurd amounts in its hoops program.
@luckranger71 Kentucky saved a ton not having to buy out Cal. The SEC is a lot better than the Big East save Uconn and Marquette

@saragoodtimes I’m a Wisconsin fan and we’re 3-0 vs Shaka. So I don’t want him going anywhere 😂

Tubby Smith and Billy Gillespie are both available. Joe B. Hall is not.

In all seriousness, I think there's little chance Donovan leaves the NBA. He had tired of recruiting when he left, and NIL makes it absolutely insane. I'd bet Drew, Nate Oats or TJ Otzelberger from Iowa St. Outside shot at Brad Underwood.

Donovan has said in the past that Kentucky would be the only job that he would consider to leave the NBA. The other 3 that you mentioned should have a buyout clause as most coaches do today, unless they resign first.

It was time for coach Cal to say goodbye . Arkansas is a weird choice though.

maybe Bruce Pearl or Rick barnes
