I Feel Robotic At Times
I logic my way out of everything
I feel lonely.
It's just because I find the concept of intimacy appealing but in reality there's no point because I'm too young and there's no chance of it lasting.
My friend has a crush on me.
It's just a coping mechanism because she broke up with her boyfriend recently and she's confusing platonic feelings for romantic ones, she doesn't really like me.
I think I like her back.
You find the idea of intimacy appealing and someone you care about is essentially offering intimacy to you so you confuse your platonic love for her with romantic love even though in reality it would never work out.
I feel sad.
You have no right to feel sad, you have nice things in your life. Look at all the people who don't have nice things and have real problems. You're just making up petty fake problems so you can feel sorry for yourself.
While I know it's good to be logical and self aware it leaves me feeling so emotionless and robotic. Maybe that's just me making up more fake problems but still, it bothers me.
