DeepSeek Is OverHyped

Yes the open source rivalling o1 model aspect of it isn't, but from what I've used so far on their website, it sucks. Responses are slow, chatbot lacks so many features ChatGPT has, and it's both woke (censoring on behalf the far left) and pro-CCP (censoring for Beijing). I don't know how this ever comes close to what OpenAI offers aside from allowing people to finetune it, which LlAMa from Meta already does. Still have to create the code for the extra features or rely on APIs from existing third parties for those, along with having to take out woke and communist censorship. Also, if you keep writing anti-CCP messages to it, you'll get banned but they won't tell you; as in, you can't send messages anymore unless you create a new account.
