Common Robot Personalities vs. Human personalities.

Not sure how they do this but this is what we can expect from our competition:

It used to be that people were divided into type A and type B personalities.

Type A: People who are competitive, fast-moving, impatient, and driven to succeed.

Type B: People who are relaxed, patient, easy-going, and less stressed by time.

Another popular way has been the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). For myself I've noticed that this has changed a lot over time.

This popular test sorts people into 16 different types using four pairs of traits.

Introversion (I) vs. Extraversion (E): Where you get your energy (alone time vs. social time).

Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N): How you take in information (facts vs. big ideas).

Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F): How you make choices (logic vs. emotions).

Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P): How you handle the outside world (planned vs. flexible).

Currently human personalities are grouped into different frameworks, with the most scientifically supported system being the Big Five traits. Scientists and psychologists use these

The Big Five Personality Traits (OCEAN)

This model measures five key areas of human behavior. Everyone falls somewhere on a scale for each trait.

Openness: How willing a person is to try new things, learn, and be creative.

Conscientiousness: How organized, careful, and hardworking a person is.

Extraversion: How much energy a person gets from being around other people.

Agreeableness: How kind, helpful, and trusting a person is toward others.

Neuroticism: How easily a person feels stressed, sad, or worried.

For androids the personalities being developed are:

The Assistant / Helper. Polite, obedient, and helpful. Designed for customer service, home care, or reception desks. Focuses on efficiency and clear communication.

The Companion / Friend. Empathetic, warm, and conversational.Designed for elderly care or personal companion robots. Listens actively and responds with emotional cues.

The Educator / Tutor. Patient, encouraging, and clear. Designed for teaching children or training workers. Breaks down complex topics and repeats information without frustration.

The Guardian / Security Guard. Serious, authoritative, and direct.Designed for patrols or monitoring dangerous areas. Uses firm language and alerts authorities quickly.

The Entertainer / Performer. Energetic, playful, and humorous. Found in theme parks, museums, or toy robots. Focuses on keeping people amused and engaged.

The Neutral / Professional. Fact-based, emotionless, and concise. Used in industrial automation or data processing. Avoids unnecessary chatter to complete tasks fast.

But, they can be adjusted to conform.to a situation.

Dynamic Adaptation: Advanced AI can shift personalities based on who they are talking to or the user's mood.

Customization: Users can often select a voice, tone, and humor level during setup.

Cultural Tuning: Personalities change based on local cultural expectations for politeness and distance.
