AI is Surreal
I am sitting outside at my favorite pizzeria, facing a restaurant location across the street.
I knew the location across the street used to be a Red Robin, and that it closed a few months ago. But it already has a new sign: "breakfast, brunch, lunch". It is not a Red Robin sign, that was different.
Unfortunately, I cannot see the front sign well due to the angle. I see the side of letters, but cannot make them out.
So I asked Google AI and we had a conversation. It said it was First Watch restaurant, and then hoped I would enjoy my pizza. It then was ready to plan out the rest of my evening, but I declined.
Someday, AI will cook my pizza, too.
And share a slice!

It was nice to not have to get up, walk 20 yards, and see the new sign. I am so lazy.
