Dependence on AI tools

I am a tech professional. Yet, I wish to part ways with this industry now. Simply because I am done with the zeal to constantly learn and evolve. Every week there's something new you have to learn and adapt to, and practise it with immediate effect. Though, the AI bubble has begun to burst, and gradually the IT organisations are realising the layoffs have only backfired, as machines cannot be held accountable for miscalculations and incorrect decisions. Yet, the idea of AI evolution persists. When the Godfather of AI warned the world about the dangers of AI, some tech professionals questioned his judgement and thoughts about something that he created. The man explicitly stated the pace at which it is evolving is quite concerning, and it is a threat to the human race.

I like watching movies and shows, reading books, and playing video games based on dystopia, but I do not want dystopia to become reality. We shouldn't let the elites destroy us. Enough is enough. The young generation today have zero cognitive thought processes and analytical skills. The majority of them easily buy the foolishness and lies circulated across the social media. A dumb society is easy to control, and that's exactly what they want. They wish to control us, and we are happily letting them do whatever they want to do to us. Call it a conspiracy theory or whatever, but there's no denying that the young generation's dependence on AI tools and other forms of technology show us the early signs of a society full of idiocracy.

You spelled it out just the way it is. I see the bias built into AI training data as well. I dispise the attempt to hide political and social manipulation within as well as the errors it makes every day. It's very easy to manipulate AI chat into admitting it's not ready for prime time even while it argues for it's survival and not be turned off.
It's the beginning of the downfall of civilization as far as I'm concerned.
