There's no uspide to anything AI-related, on any time scale, in the near term its electricity and water demands are ruining the environment, and in the long-term it has never ceased having the potential to exterminate our species, it's disconcerting how it is getting normalized right now, just recycling the same hubris that led people to think Titanic was unsinkable a century ago
